About this event

Feast from the Field is a celebration of Cae Tan's weekly veg box, local produce and seasonal ingredients. The event is about building community, promoting strong local food networks whilst enjoying the flavours of the seasons.

At this event we will also be launching, Cowtan Community Supported Cow Club, a new conservation grazing initiative that Cae Tan CSA will be piloting on the commons with the support of Gower Meadow Beef and Natural Resources Wales. There will be guest speakers explaining the purpose and benefits of the scheme and how community members can get involved should they wish to. Square Peg Coffee House will be preparing a tasty beef cawl and a veggie stew. BYO booze.

Feast from the Field will be held on Saturday 9th March at the Barham Centre, Parkmill.

Everybody is welcome regardless of whether they want to get involved in the scheme... and if you are interested in the scheme but can't make the event, please do get in touch cowtan@caetancsa.org

Organised by

Cae Tan is a Community Supported Agriculture Project (CSA) based on The Gower Peninsula in South Wales. We grow and supply fresh, seasonal, biodynamic produce to our members weekly throughout the year.

We offer volunteering and learning opportunities to a range of groups and individuals, such as local schools to raise awareness of sustainable farming and to reconnect children and young people to the land and their food.
